FREDDIE AND REBECCA SPENT THE NEXT TWO YEARS MAKING MEMORIES AND BUILDING THE FOUNDATION OF A LOVE THAT WILL LAST A LIFETIME.

From Freddie teaching Rebecca how to score baseball games to Rebecca teaching Freddie how to swing dance (a work in progress), they embraced the hobbies and interests of each other, growing closer together each day. Rebecca’s sense of curiosity matched perfectly with Freddie’s love of travel and aviation, and despite never getting the window seat, Rebecca found flying with Freddie and taking b-reel for FredwardFlies to be a real joy. Trips to Deep Creek, the Villages and Neptune Beach, Orioles trips to Los Angeles, Denver, Houston, and Chicago, and most recently a Rhine River cruise through the Netherlands, Switzerland, France and Germany (don’t worry, they went to the Airplane Museum in Speyer) served as a backdrop to experiencing a bigger and more interesting world because they were sharing it together. They navigated job changes, busy schedules, and Rebecca’s starting her DNP program while enjoying many steak dinners, golf outings, Skip-Bo game nights, and celebrating Mass together! Honesty and vulnerability opened up to deeper love and respect, and before long, it became clear to both Freddie and Rebecca - “This person is the one God sent to me.”
